The Delegate Assembly is the ultimate governing body of MSEA; it is the mechanism for members’ voices to be heard through a democratic process. The Assembly is responsible for all policies governing MSEA, the annual budget, dues schedule and elections to the Board of Directors.

MSEA strives to offer relevant trainings to give our members the tools necessary to handle a variety of situations. Unit leaders (unit officers, building reps & negotiation teams) are encouraged to attend these free workshops - but ALL members are welcome!

Current MSEA leaders and members looking to become more involved are welcome to attend! These two days will provide you with valuable insight needed to bring the union back to the workplace. Plus it’s great opportunity to network with other MSEA leaders from around the state and have some fun too!

Spring Regionals

FEBRUARY/MARCH
Spring Regionals are held around the state to prepare Delegates and Alternates for the Delegate Assembly in April. Discussion items include upcoming resolutions, Board elections, unit recognition and legislative initiatives.
