The State of the Economy

February 13, 2009 - Everyone is feeling the pinch of the economic crisis that has gripped this nation since last fall. There have been a record number of unemployment claims, jobs lost, foreclosures and bankruptcies in the United States. Although the new is bleak, there is room for hope. The economic stimulus plan currently being debated by the Senate would help fund healthcare for more children and adults, give money to schools to update and refurbish them and put up to 3 million Americans back to work.
