Leadership Roles: Building Rep, Negotiation Team, Local Executive Board Member, Delegate to the Assembly and State MSEA Board of Directors.

Goals: To maintain the financial stability of MSEA, Improve MSEA's benefits and training activities for members, Promote a positive image of MSEA to members and others, Promote unity and open communication throughout MSEA, To work together with Board, members and staff to continue to move MSEA forward to ensure our future.

Personal Strengths: I have a background in business management, strong leadership ability, respectful, a team player, honest and hard-working, good organizing strengths, motivated and dedicated to MSEA and its members.

Comment: I have enjoyed serving on the MSEA Board of Directors and would like to continue to serve. My goal is to ensure MSEA's financial future and growth. When I was first on this Board we were running in the red. Over the past few years myself and the other Directors have dealt with some difficult situations and issues but, through it all we have strived toward financial stability and membership growth. We set a goal of maintaining a 10% fund balance and have achieved that and more. We have hired a Director of Organizing and have started to see some growth. We have had some wonderful trainings for our members over the past couple of years and are looking foward to more. I see a bright future in our union and would continue to work hard for MSEA.
