2008 MSEA Delegate Assembly Registration

April 18-19, 2008

DELEGATES MUST CALL the Best Western Bigwood Event Center by March 18, 2008 to reserve their room(s) for Friday, April 18, 2008.  Be sure to mention you are part of the MSEA reservation block.  One room per two (same sex) delegates.

Delegates
School districts with one MSEA bargaining unit:
          up to 150 full members -  2 delegates
          150 full members - 3 delegates
          225 full members - 4 delegates
          300 full members - 5 delegates
          375 full members - 6 delegates

School districts with more than one MSEA bargaining unit: Use the previous formula or the following formula; whichever is greater. These units shall be entitled to not fewer than one (1) delegate per bargaining unit. Any bargaining unit that employs more than 75 MSEA members may select one (1) additional delegate for every 75 members over the initial 75 members (same formula as above). Individual bargaining unit delegates are transferable to other bargaining units within the same school district at the discretion of the individual bargaining unit.

Additonal delegates are based on the number of full members per school district as of March 1st of each year. Contact MSEA for a current membership roster.

Alternates
Units may send as many alternates as they wish, however all related expenses are the responsibility of the Alternate or unit.
